Marcus Rashford has had a stunning rise over the last few years after breaking through Manchester United’s academy in 2015.
The 20-year-old has become a regular in the squad, but this season, had to settle for a spot on the bench may times.
Manager Jose Mourinho started Rashford in 26 matches in all competitions, and 17 of those were in the Premier League.
In total, the youngster scored 13 goals across the board, but questions have been raised over his position on the field.
During the campaign, Rashford has predominantly played on the left-hand side, but Mourinho has also selected him as a centre-forward.
The Manchester-born player led the line in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, but he was ineffective and eventually replaced by Romelu Lukaku in the 73rd minute.
In the end, Chelsea lifted the trophy thanks to Eden Hazard’s first-half penalty, which was the only goal of the game.
On Twitter, United fans made their frustrations with Rashford clear.
Memphis Depay turning heads in France- seems more mature in his game now. Maybe Rashford could benefit from going out on loan somewhere…far #mufc

I am sick to death of watching Marcus Rashford and Alexis Sanchez not beat the first man from a corner/ wide freekick when Ashley young is on the pitch and has been our best crosser of a ball since Giggs #mufc

Lingard and rashford aren't effective when playing together upfront. All the Chelsea defenders were comfortable defending against them because they were not dragged out of position by any of them.
Lukaku could have made the difference in that area#MUFC #FACupFinal

I get that Rashford is only 20 but he's been shocking recently and he was terrible again today. Especially in the 1st half. Where's the player he was when he made his breakthrough? He looks ruined at the minute. #MUFC

Rashford’s average talent finally showing face which is why he never stood out at youth level #mufc

Watching Rashford playing under Mourinho is an unbearable cruelty. Looks utterly devoid of any confidence #MUFC

As for Marcus rashford I'm just fed up with him. No progress at all in two years. Braindead footballer he really is. Takes free kicks and corners and just whacks it hoping for the best. Cant control the ball and just runs into defenders constantly. #MUFC
