Romelu Lukaku scored twice for Manchester United as Jose Mourinho's side saw off Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday, and the Belgian's goals drew him level on the Premier League scoring charts with Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

In 2014, whilst Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho sold Lukaku to Everton for £28m and decided to bring Drogba back to Stamford Bridge. In the past though Lukaku has held no grudge against Drogba and has made it no secret that he idolises the Ivorian and sees similarities in their playing styles.

On Sunday, Lukaku netted his first with a header from close range and then played poacher in the box as he converted a bouncing ball past Burnley keeper Joe Hart.

With 104 goals now in 224 Premier League matches, Lukaku has equalled his idol's tally with 30 matches to spare.

The Manchester United front man is also still only 25 years old and has many years left at the top, and United fans on Twitter were loving the comparison between the two. Check out some of their best tweets in reaction to the stat below.
