Manchester United fans react to Juventus interest in Paul Pogba

Juventus look keen on signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United for a second time.

According to TuttoSport (via Sky Sports) Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici is hoping to link Pogba up with Cristiano Ronaldo. Juventus shocked the world by signing Ronaldo from Real Madrid in July for a mammoth sum.

The club’s latest interest in Pogba could be a serious statement in trying to build one of the most formidable teams in the world and it is alleged that they are keeping tabs on Real Madrid’s Marcelo as well.

Should the deal go through, Pogba will join a team that already has the likes of Douglas Costa, Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Ronaldo and Sami Khedira in their armour.

The news doesn’t sit well with some Manchester United fans though and they have expressed their unhappiness on Twitter, saying that Pogba should leave if he wants to while criticising his attitude and high market value – Transfermarkt currently rate him at £81million.

United broke their club record-fee when they resigned the Frenchman from Juventus in 2016 but he has since struggled to find a consistent level of performance under manager Jose Mourinho.
