After being at the heart of the AS Monaco side that thrilled all in their run to the Champions League semi-finals back in 2017, Tiemoue Bakayoko’s career took a huge nosedive following a move to Chelsea.
His time at Stamford Bridge was rather forgettable to say the least, and there appeared to be a real concern over the Frenchman’s future at the top of the game.
However, a season of revival whilst on loan at Milan has seen his name crop up in the conversation once more, and according to French outlet RMC Sport, Manchester United have contacted Chelsea over a possible deal for the midfielder this summer.

After hearing that their side were being linked with a move for the 24-year-old, United fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter.
Most supporters of the Manchester side were deeply unimpressed by the rumours and felt the rumours of a Bakayoko move were symbolic of the club’s decline in recent years.
Indeed, such were fans’ frustrations over a potential move for Bakayoko, that some even suggested they would consider abandoning their support for United in protest.
