Manchester United fans stunned by Fellaini performance

Manchester United fans cant quite believe how good Marouane Fellaini on Friday, as the towering Belgian played a huge part in lifting his side past Brazil.

Manchester United fans were less than impressed when Fellaini signed a new contract with the club, but his performance against Brazil seems to have won them over.

To some fans, the 30 year-old represents everything bad about Jose Mourinho, brought on by the Portuguese tactician to hoof balls into the box when the going gets tough.

However, the lanky ex-Everton man played in midfield for Belgium in their 2-1 win over Brazil, and put in an absolute shift alongside Axel Witsel.

Fellaini and Witsel were basically tasked with work of more than two players, as the likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne were allowed to roam freely, meaning the two in midfield had to do an incredible amount of defending.

The divisive Red Devil did just that, winning a ridiculous seven aerial duels, as well as three tackles, three clearances and two interceptions.

Fans liked what they saw, and they’re hoping the performance may breathe new life into his Old Trafford career.
