Manchester United have received some positive news following Sunday's defeat to neighbours Manchester City in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho's side avoided a horror tie in the Champions League last-16 draw, which will see all five English teams competing.

United will take on Sevilla across two legs in the hope of reaching the quarter-finals of the elite competition.

The North-West outfit have not played in the Champions League since the 2015-16 season, in which they failed to progress from the group stage.

United were unable to claim a top-four finish in the 2016-17 league campaign, but winning the Europa League ensured their place this season.

The last-16 tie will mark the first time that the two clubs have played against one another competitively.

United's arch rivals Liverpool are familiar with Sevilla having faced them twice in the group stage and drawing both games.

Following the announcement of the draw, fans tweeted their reaction, which was by and large full of confidence.
