Having arrived from Arsenal back in January 2018, it's fair to say Alexis Sanchez hasn't enjoyed the most illustrious of Manchester United careers.

The Chile international has suffered with numerous injury problems and a loss of form, and there has been speculation in recent weeks and months that he could be offloaded by the club.

However, following earlier suggestions from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that Sanchez could remain a United player, The Daily Mail now claim the 30-year-old is looking for an Old Trafford exit in the next two weeks.

The report adds the forward has an eye on a move to Italy, with the transfer deadline in other major European leagues still open.

After hearing the update on Sanchez's future, United fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

Many supporters of the Manchester side wanted the Chilean to stay at the club for the foreseeable future due to there being no chance of signing a replacement for him.

Indeed, some felt the team didn't have the necessary squad depth to let Sanchez go, and urged the club to keep hold of him.
