But still, it seems like the Manchester United icon is adamant in his decision to pursue a career in management, now that he won't be professionally chasing the ball on the pitch anymore.

And what a rich career Evra has had up until this point. He is, however, best known for his days at Old Trafford, where he played a total of 379 games donning the shirt of the Red Devils, and managed to score ten goals and assist further 40 in the process.

Despite being a defender, he still participated in the attacking side of things quite often.

And now, he has taken to Instagram to share a brilliant throwback snap of the time he shared the pitch with the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both Evra and Ronaldo shared the same side of the pitch but one was defending while the other was bagging the goals left and right.

The Portuguese scored a total of 118 goals in 292 games he played for Manchester United.

And the snap immediately caught the attention of some other legends like Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville.
