Everton youngster Brendan Galloway is a January target for Manchester United, according to reports in the Daily Star.
The 19-year old is rumoured to be a target of Louis van Gaal as he searches for cover following Luke Shaw’s horrific double leg break that will see the youngster ruled out for around six months.
Galloway joined the Toffees only last year from MK Dons signing a five-year deal, but has impressed in their first team following the injury to Leighton Baines.
He can operate as both a left-back and centre halve, and his versatility is rumoured to a key reason as to why the Red Devils are targeting him.
Much like the situation with John Stones – where the Goodison Park outfit rejected four bids and a transfer request – any approach for Galloway is likely to be met by a stubborn Merseyside board.
The Red Devils will be without Luke Shaw for the foreseeable future, and are expected to sell Marcos Rojo in the New Year.
