Manchester United newbie wanted on loan

Wilfried ZahaCrystal Palace chief Ian Holloway is keen to take Wilfried Zaha back to Selhurst Park on a loan deal from Manchester United, according to reports from The Mirror.

The Eagles sold the England international to the Red Devils during January, but retained him for the remainder of 2012/13 in a bid to aid their promotion push.

This worked, and after winning the play-off final, Holloway wants him back again.

United chief David Moyes is yet to confirm his plans for the livewire, but it is thought that first-team opportunities may be difficult for him to come by at Old Trafford due to the presence of a number of established players.

This may tempt the Red Devils to allow him to move away on a short-term deal to boost his development.

Palace would appear to be the ideal destination, with the player having emerged from their youth set-up to become fully immersed in the senior squad over the course of the past few years.

The 20-year-old would be guaranteed first-team football, whilst having the chance to acclimatise to life in the Premier League.

Both Fulham and West Ham are also keen to take Zaha on a loan deal, and are willing to offer him ample chance of playing time.

Does a return to Crystal Palace make sense for everybody?
