Remarkably, Manchester United added a third consecutive victory, all of which have come away from home, to their collection last night after beating Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Rashford, who’s valued at £72m by Transfermarkt, is good for many things – running at the opponent, providing dynamic wing play, countering with speed – and perhaps it’s time to add free kicks to that list as well, as the England international netted the fourth of his Red Devils career.
The 22-year-old’s effort last night, however, was different gravy. Rashford may have even singlehandedly inspired a new generation of punters who spend their days recording themselves kicking footballs into an empty net, in this instance to mimic the United star’s technique.
