Manchester United ready to offload strike ace

Manchester United are ready to sell Javier Hernandez this summer, with the striker having grown frustrated at his lack of playing time this season, according to reports from Goal.

The Mexican ace has only made five Premier League starts under David Moyes this term, and is believed to be ready to leave in a bid to get his career back on track.

It is understood that Hernandez has spoken to his manager on several occasions to register his displeasure at his current situation, and has now been told by the club that he can leave if a respectable offer is received.

The 25-year-old appears to be out of Moyes’ plans, with the Scot looking to add to his attacking armoury this summer.

He already has Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck at his disposal, and further signings would push Hernandez down the pecking order.

Atletico Madrid are one side rumoured to be interested in the prolific forward, with the Spaniards likely to have to snap up a replacement for star striker and Chelsea target Diego Costa this summer.

Even though 20 of Hernandez’s 31 appearances this term have come from the bench, he has still managed a respectable nine goals and is set to represent Mexico at the World Cup.
