Manchester United set to launch final transfer bid

Cesc Fabregas

Manchester United boss David Moyes is set to make one final bid for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas before switching transfer targets, according to the Daily Mail.

United have already seen two big money bids turned down by the Catalan club but are preparing a final £36million move this week.

Fabregas has told Barcelona that he wants to stay if he is assured of first team football and the Spanish international will sit down with new manager Gerardo Martino tomorrow when he returns for pre season training.

Moyes is hoping the lure of guaranteed first team football and a return to English football where he made his name will be enough to get his man this summer but the Spanish champions are proving hard work.

United will make the all or nothing bid tomorrow and if that is rejected Moyes is set to turn to Everton star Marouane Fellaini to plug the gap left by Paul Scholes in the heart of the Red Devils side.
