Manchester United set to Show The Door To star this summer

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to finally let winger Nani leave the club in the summer after poor recent performances, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Portuguese midfielder was sent off in United’s Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last month and has failed to show any positive response to that in recent games.

The final straw for Ferguson was the sulky, uninspiring display at Chelsea last Monday that saw the Red Devils knocked out of the FA Cup.

Nani has been rumoured to be unhappy in Manchester all season and many expected the 26-year-old to leave in January.

Wilfried Zaha will join up with the champions elect in the summer and so it seems Nani’s place and future in the United squad has gone.

A number of clubs from Spain and Italy have been linked with a move for the winger who has shown glimpses of quality over the past 18 months, but just not often enough.
