Graeme Souness would have exploded if Paul Pogba was playing on Sunday.
The Manchester United midfielder has been struggling with an ankle injury since the end of August and though he made his return to first-team action and played a full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League, he’s missed his side’s last two matches. Lucky him.

Without the Frenchman, United provided a sleep-inducing performance against AZ Alkmaar last Thursday and again failed to find the back of the net when they were beaten on Tyneside by Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United. Pogba alone scored 16 goals and created 11 more last season.
Pogba could make his return against rivals Liverpool on October 18 after a two-week international break.
If his latest Instagram post is anything to go by then the 26-year-old’s recovery is going very well, but then if you’re earning upwards of half a million each week and holidaying in Dubai like it’s a trip to Blackpool, of course, things are going to look a little rosy.
