Manchester United star Paul Pogba is “missing” his former club Juventus, according to ex-teammate Paulo Dybala.
Not only has the Argentine said that Pogba his yearning for the Italian giants, he had a little dig at United’s slow start to the season.
As we all know, Pogba ended a four-year spell in Turin to return to Old Trafford in the summer, and in the process he became the most expensive footballer on the planet with a cost of £89m.
It has taken time for the France international to settle into life back in Manchester, where he left to join Juve in 2012 on a free transfer.
However, he is beginning to show why United paid such a hefty price for him as he put in a man-of-the-match performance in Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Dybala, though, has suggested that Pogba would prefer to be back with the Old Lady as the club currently have a four-point lead at the top of the Serie A standings.
The forward told Corriere dello Sport:
“I’m still talking to Pogba. We are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room. However, he misses us as well. Just look at our position in the table and the one of Manchester United.”
