Manchester United have loaned youngster Tyler Blackett to Sky Bet Championship side Blackpool.
The Daily Star are reporting that the 19-year-old will play for the Seasiders until December 2nd, although a new deal could happen after then.
Blackett joins former United player Paul Ince at Blackpool, and the now manager is keen to see the full-back in an orange shirt:
“I spoke to Moyesy on Wednesday, had a good chat about him and he’s got bags of potential,” Ince said. “He’s only a young kid so I don’t want to put too much pressure on him.
“We’ll have a look at him and give him some minutes. Sometimes you’ve got to throw people in at the deep end to see how they get on.”
Blackett was part of United’s FA Youth Cup-winning squad in 2011, and has been sent out on loan to continue his development, as Moyes looks to continue United’s build for the future, as well as present team.
The full-back joins a Blackpool team currently 4th in the Sky Bet Championship table, and looking to get back into the Premier League. And whilst the defender is initially set to spend just the month at Bloomfield Road, he could stay with the Seasiders for longer should he impress Paul Ince.
Is Blackett one for the future for United? Can he make the cut?
