Manchester United to focus transfer efforts on Belgium ace

Marouane-Fellaini (Everton)Manchester United manager David Moyes is ready to put all of his effort into securing a late move for Marouane Fellaini, according to reports from the Manchester Evening News.

The Scot coached the big-haired Belgian at Everton prior to his move to Old Trafford earlier this summer, and is said to be desperate to set up a reunion with the player.

United have already seen multiple bids for the 25-year-old rebuffed by the Toffees, who are far from keen to let him move on.

But, Moyes has not been deterred by this and is ready to make one last effort to force through a deal.

Fellaini is said to be desperate to complete a switch to the Premier League champions, which could aid a swift transfer.

Moyes is hopeful of luring at lease one big name player to United before next week’s deadline, as he looks to put his own stamp on his inherited squad.

With bolstering his midfield a priority, Fellaini is seen as the perfect man to address the club’s lack of activity this summer.

United are also keen on his Everton team-mate Leighton Baines.

The left-back is seen as the ideal replacement for current first choice, Patrice Evra.

Is Marouane Fellaini the right man for Manchester United?
