Manchester United to move for wantaway playmaker

Manchester United are plotting a move for Valencia’s Ever Banega, amid rumours that the Argentine is looking to leave the Mestalla, according to reports from the Sunday People.

Red Devils boss David Moyes is set to delve into the transfer market in the coming weeks to bolster his squad after a difficult start to the season, and has made a creative midfielder a priority.

Banega has been on their radar for some time, and now the Scot is ready to mount a serious move for his services with the South American looking to move on.

The 25-year-old has been impressive for the Spaniards for a while, but is said to have grown frustrated at the club in recent times.

This has alerted Moyes, who is ready to lure the playmaker to Old Trafford in a bid to get United’s ailing season back on track.

Rated at £12.5m the silky passer is seen as a wise purchase, and a player who can make an instant impact at the club.

If he is unable to lure Banega to away from Valencia before the deadline, he may return with a summer move.

Javier Hernandez could also be used as part of a potential deal, with Los Che known to be interested in the out-of-favour Mexican.
