Manchester United’s ‘dream starting XI’ under Louis Van Gaal

Enjoying a 4-0 victory over Norwich City upon his management debut, Ryan Giggs has made a pretty strong case for himself to take the vacant Manchester United post full-time.

But according to the tabloids, Netherlands manager Louis Van Gaal is only moving further towards the Old Trafford throne, with The Guardian reporting this morning that the 62 year-old plans to seal a deal with the Red Devils before the end of the week.

With that in mind, in addition to the fact the Premier League champions are expected to spend around £200million on revitalising their floundering squad this summer, we at Football FanCast have decided to take a look at what the Red Devils’ dream first XI may look like under Van Gaal next season.
