Goalkeeper – David De Gea

No need for drastic change between the Old Trafford sticks – the form of goalkeeper David De Gea has been one of the few positives amid Manchester United’s torrid campaign, with prominent displays against Crystal Palace and Olympiakos particularly coming to mind.

The Spaniard is a world-class shot-stopper, with an old school, cat-like style, and at the age of just 23, looks only set to further develop the weaker areas of his game in the future.

Backed up by sturdy understudy Anders Lindegaard too, the goalkeeping department is the only area of United’s first team that doesn’t require Louis Van Gaal’s immediate attention this summer.
