Manchester United players are quite likely over the moon right now after a huge Premier League victory over Chelsea in their campaign opener at the weekend.

The Red Devils clinched a big 4-0 win over Frank Lampard's Blues and secured the three points in front of their fans at Old Trafford.

Eric Bailly wasn't present though as he is still recovering from the serious injury he sustained in a pre-season clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year-old defender has been riddled with all sorts of injuries ever since he arrived at the club from Villarreal in 2016.

Manchester United already confirmed that the player will be out for four to five months, meaning that we won't be seeing him on the pitch anytime soon.

Bailly only managed to make 18 appearances in the 2018/19 season, only 12 of which were actually in the Premier League.

And it seems that the new campaign might not be very different, if these early signs are anything to go by.

Staying fit will be Bailly's biggest concern if he wants to revive his Manchester United career.
