Some days have now passed since Manchester United faced Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home and drew 1-1 on the night.

And despite an overall good performance by the Red Devils, the game somehow managed to take a backseat once Paul Pogba stepped up to take the penalty and miss in the process.

Manchester United's Frenchman was then racially insulted by some of the fans in the stands who condemned him for missing such a huge chance to help his team get all three points in the game.

Of course, many came to Pogba's aid, comforting him and supporting him through insults that have no place in football, or the world as a whole, for that matter.

And yet, here we are. It's 2019 and this is still happening.

Pogba has now finally spoken out about the incident, leaving a long message on his

He talked about his ancestors and his parents fighting and suffering only for him to be where he is right now, condemning those insults and racism in the process.

But he also stated that this will only make him stronger and motivate him to fight for the next generation, which includes his son as well.

It didn't take long for his friends to comment, leaving their messages of support to the Frenchman.
