Anthony Martial has found himself out of the reckoning quite often so far this season with Manchester United, with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford to contend with, which has raised speculation on his future.
Since Jose Mourinho took charge at Old Trafford, the Frenchman has been used sporadically by the Portuguese boss and has just one Premier League goal from his eleven league appearances this term.
Given his lack of opportunities, the 21-year-old could be tempted with a move away from the North West of England as his agent, Philippe Lamboley, confirmed to Goal that an offer from Sevilla is being considered.
“We are studying the Sevilla option in detail. Sevilla are a very good club, are in a good position in La Liga, play in the Champions League and have a great coach. That’s all I can tell you.”
However, it’s unlikely that Manchester United would accept a loan offer from the Spanish side as Martial still has a part to play in the squad. That said, this could give the Frenchman a boost in his quest for more regular football.
