Mourinho already ‘working’ with super agent on Man United summer transfers – expert

Jose Mourinho hopes to be confirmed as Manchester United’s next manager “soon” and is already working on summer transfers with well-known agent Jorge Mendes, according to Fabrizio Romano.

‘The Special One’ has been out of football since being sacked by Chelsea in December, but speculation surrounding a return to management with the Red Devils has intensified in recent days.

It’s claimed that Mourinho ‘expects’ to be Louis van Gaal’s successor this summer with the Dutchman’s status seemingly resting on a good showing in the FA Cup and the club’s Champions League qualification fate, and now Romano has revealed on Twitter that the Portuguese boss is willing to overlook Paris Saint-Germain in favour of the Manchester heavyweights:

“PSG would like Jose Mourinho, but Mou just wants to wait for Manchester United. He hopes to sign soon as new #MUFC manager.”

And when called out by a fellow Twitter user on these claims, Romano revealed that Mourinho is already working on transfers with super agent, Mendes:

“@SmallingsVoice we’re just waiting Jose to sign the contract. Yes, Mourinho is working with Mendes about Man Utd transfers.”

Mourinho has already been aligned with a host of big name stars in the event he gets the Man United job, with suggestions circulating that he wants to re-build the ‘spine’ of LVG’s team.
