Mourinho has told mega money attacker that Man United door is open for transfer

Jose Mourinho is keen on a summer deal for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez, and has even told the player that the door is open for him to join him at Manchester United this summer, according to reports from Don Balon.

The Portuguese tactician has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in December, but his stock has remained relatively high despite his struggles in west London last year.

There have been suggestions that a ‘pre-contract agreement’ is in place between Mourinho and Man United, hinting that ‘The Special One’ will replace Louis van Gaal in the Old Trafford dugout.

Further to this it’s understood that up to £250m will be made available to him for transfers, and reports claim that Rodriguez is a player he wants.

The Colombia international only joined Real in 2014 for a fee of over £60m, but he’s thought to have grown unsettled over the course of what has been a difficult 2015/16 for himself and the La Liga club.

It’s believed that ‘Mou’ has already made it clear to the classy attacking midfielder that he will have the chance to relocate to Manchester to be part of his plans.
