Mourinho ready to bring epic flop back to Man United in shock summer transfer

According to reports from Dogan News Agency, Jose Mourinho is looking to bring former winger Nani back to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

The Portugal international, who is part of Fernando Santos’ Euro 2016 squad, spent eight seasons at Old Trafford after signing from Sporting Lisbon in summer 2007.

He was tipped to follow a similar path to Cristiano Ronaldo but the 29-year-old never came close to reaching those heights and eventually left the club in summer 2015 after making just 23 Premier League appearances during his final three campaigns.

But according to Dogan News Agency, Jose Mourinho is considering bringing the £20million flop back to Old Trafford amid news his Fenerbahce contract includes an €8million release clause.

Nani signed for the Turkish outfit last summer following a productive loan spell back at Sporting and has gone on to bag twelve goals in 38 appearances across all competitions – including eight strikes in the Turkish Super Lig.
