Manchester United were linked with a lot of players over the summer. Indeed, if the footballers the Red Devils supposedly wanted were all sat down together, they would probably go some way towards filling the Stretford End.
We jest, of course, but Man United were aligned with a LOT of players. One name that cropped up towards the very end of the summer window was Monaco’s Fabinho, and there have even been suggestions that he remains a target heading towards January.
The Brazilian, who had a very brief spell as a loanee under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, has impressed in Ligue 1 during recent seasons with his rampaging displays from right-back – and Man United scouts are sure to have been wowed by his antics over the weekend.
As the video above, posted on Monaco’s official Instagram, shows, Fabinho scored an absolute belter in the Mediterranean side’s 4-1 win at Lille.
The 22-year-old has thrived in a new central midfield position this term, amassing five goals in as many games!
Mourinho, sign him up!
