Jose Mourinho is confident that he will be Manchester United’s next manager and he’s ready to sign off any plans the club may have to land Benfica’s Renato Sanches and John Stones of Everton this summer, according to reports from the Telegraph.
The Portuguese tactician has been out of work since being dismissed by Chelsea in December, and ever since he’s been aligned with Louis van Gaal’s job at Old Trafford.
Although suggestions he is in line to replace LVG have somewhat cooled in recent weeks, reports now claim that Mourinho expects to be In charge of Man United in a few months’ time, and that he’s already drawing up transfer plans, with Sanches and Stones players he’s happy to see arrive at the club.
The box-to-box midfielder and the young England centre-back are seen as two of the most talented emerging players in Europe, and are already senior internationals despite being 18 and 21 respectively.
It’s understood that both are already targets for the club, and that Mourinho, should he arrive in Manchester, is on board with deals for them.
