Mou’s Man United plans hit, 49-cap defender doesn’t want transfer

Marcos Rojo has no interest in leaving Manchester United this summer amid claims that Jose Mourinho is keen to move the Argentine on, according to reports from Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old defender signed for the Red Devils during Louis van Gaal’s first summer (2014) at Old Trafford following a decent World Cup showing with his home country.

However, Rojo has largely failed to hold down a regular slot in the first XI, even though he can play at centre-back and on the left side of the backline, which has contributed to recent suggestions that Mourinho is keen to move him on as he plans a defensive re-shuffle.

However, reports claim the 49-cap Argentine international does not want to leave and is keen to prove himself in Manchester under ‘The Special One’.

Rojo will face plenty of competition, with Eric Bailly having been signed while Luke Shaw is set for his comeback from a nasty leg injury.
