Manchester United's transfer window has been something of a disaster.

We are less than a week away from deadline day, and the Red Devils are yet to bring in any new players to their squad. They have been heavily linked with Bruno Fernandes, but that deal has not gone through, and they have also been linked with a number of strikers as well, from Edinson Cavani to Odion Ighalo.

The big fat United quiz of 2019 - how much do you remember about the last year at Man Utd?

Another name has now been mentioned in regards to a potential move to Old Trafford: Vedat Muriqi. The 25-year-old is currently playing in the Super Lig with Fenerbahce. United are even said to have made an approach but, whilst the player himself is said to be excited by the proposal, it is too close to the deadline for the Turkish club to let him go.

The speculation, it appears, has not gone down too well with the supporters. For a start, many don't seem to even know who he is.

Whilst he may not be a household name, he has been in good form so far this campaign in Turkey - he has bagged 11 goals in 17 games in the league, as well as one in two in the Turkish Cup.

Others are just unhappy to be linked with him.

Given the names that have already been mentioned - United were also pursuing Erling Haaland before he switched to Borussia Dortmund - this does seem to be a little anti-climatic.

Some supporters, meanwhile, are clearly annoyed by the number of names they have been linked with.

The pressure is really increasing on Ed Woodward to get some business done before the end of the transfer window.

He has five days to now pull something out of the bag.

Meanwhile, United want to make a big bid for this Ligue 1 striker.
