No chance of superstar going to Man United, says agent

Cristiano Ronaldo is the “greatest ever” player to play the game and will finish his career with Real Madrid instead of making an emotional return to Manchester United, according to his agent, Jorge Mendes.

The Portuguese attacker has been heavily linked with a stunning move back to Old Trafford in recent times, with reports having suggested that he’s open to a switch away from the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a successful stint in the Spanish capital, winning numerous accolades at club level while also claiming the Ballon d’Or last year.

He is also favourite to pick up the latest addition of the prize handed to the planet’s top performing star, for which he’s shortlisted alongside Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich’s World Cup winning goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

And his agent, Mendes, believes that his client is the best footballer there has ever been, and that a move back to United is not on the agenda:

“I believe that Cristiano will finish his career at Real Madrid. He’s happy at the club and is still keen to achieve more success in Madrid.” He is quoted by The Mirror.

“Cristiano is the greatest ever,

“It’ll be impossible for anyone to emulate him in the future. There’s just such a gulf between him and second best.”
