Get your glad rags on and head down to Old Trafford – today’s the Manchester Derby!
Indeed, we may no longer be in the era of hooligan casual fashion fads but having a ticket for Manchester United vs Manchester City is a fantastic excuse to don your best clobber as you witness the most hotly-anticipated fixture on the Premier League calendar.
That’s what this lad did today en route to the 12.30pm kickoff. He’s been a Red Devils season ticket holder for 53 years and (quite literally) has the badges to prove it:
The #MUFC ST holder of 53 years.

Now that’s what I call ‘Old school cool’, to combine the words of talkSPORT’s Stan Collymore with the popular subreddit.
Some of those badges are from the 1970s, when United were managed by Tommy Docherty – commonly referred to as ‘The Doc’.
And some span back even further! Take note of the white smiley face on the right-hand side, honouring United’s first ever European title in 1968.
Fair play to this lad – lets hope he has reason to add a few more in the coming years, because that jacket is an absolute masterpiece.
