Heading into Tottenham’s final match of 2018 against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Eriksen had scored five times and registered nine assists in 23 appearances for his club during the 2018-19 campaign.
The 26-year-old had managed 61 goals and 78 assists in 249 Tottenham matches, meanwhile, including 44 goals and 59 assists in the Premier League.
The fact that Eriksen’s Spurs contract will expire at the end of next season places the London club in a very difficult position.
