As reported by Spanish outlet Don Balon, Manchester United Paul Pogba is hoping to convince international teammate Antoine Griezmann to make the switch to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid.
Paul Pogba has been doing incredible work for United on the pitch this season but it seems he’s putting in extra hours off it, getting involved with attracting targets to join Mourinho’s revolution.
Don Balon reckon that Pogba has been singing the praises of life in Manchester in an effort to convince his good friend and France teammate Griezmann to pledge his future to United.
However, any move would not happen until the summer, with Griezmann preferring to see the season out in Madrid.
Griezmann is undoubtedly one of the finest players in Europe, the kind of star for club and country that doesn’t come around often.
He’s scored 68 goals in 130 appearances for Atletico Madrid, helping them to Champions League finals and bringing them so close to breaking the La Liga norm by winning the league title.
He was in red hot form during Euro 2016 too, winning the Player of the Tournament award and also the Golden Boot award.
Coming so close as runner-up in all these competitions is not ideal for the Frenchman and a move to Manchester United with Jose Mourinho could spark an era of success at the club, especially in partnership with the likes of Paul Pogba.
