The Frenchman, who helped his country to reach the final of EURO 2016 recently, has been heavily aligned with a £100m move away from Juventus for much of the current transfer window.
Man United are understood to be front-runners in the race for the 23-year-old, with a delegation from the club having travelled to Italy to thrash out a deal with the Old Lady, while Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is said to have flown to Miami to finalise the transfer with his client, who is currently on holiday in Florida.
And reports from HITC claim that Pogba has already spoken to THREE of his former Old Trafford team-mates, whose identities have not been revealed, and confirmed that he will be heading back to Manchester to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
It’s understood that the rangy midfielder will pocket a salary just below that of Wayne Rooney, who earns £300,000-per-week.
HITC also claim that Real Madrid have pulled out of the race as they are unable to compete financially with Man United.
