Pogba vows to bounce back following Liverpool display

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has told the fans that he will “never stop fighting” following his disappointing performance against Liverpool on Sunday.

The 23-year-old has been influential for United in recent weeks, but he failed to impress at Old Trafford when their arch rivals came to visit.

Pogba gave away a penalty within the first half an hour of the game after handling the ball in the box, and once James Milner had converted from the spot, the Red Devils were chasing the game.

Jose Mourinho’s side eventually levelled up when Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in the 83rd minute, but neither side could nab a winner.

Pogba was criticised on social media for his lacklustre showing against their Merseyside rivals, but the Frenchman, who is the world’s most expensive footballer following his £89m return to United from Juventus in the summer, is determined to put things right.

#????happens… That's when we need be strong. I'm here, ready to fight and ready for the next one!!! I'd like to thank the supporters who are always there and keep believing in me. At least we did not lose. Never stop fighting ????????

The dip in form was bad timing for the midfielder, as just the night before he became the first Premier League player to have his own emoji.

Plus, 24 hours after the game, Pogba launched his own Adidas clothing range, but it went largely under the radar following his poor display against Liverpool.
