Real Madrid prepared to offload star striker

Spanish giants Real Madrid are prepared to sell Gareth Bale to Premier League side Manchester United in January having identified Chelsea’s Eden Hazard as a long-term replacement.

United have been linked with a £90million move for Bale and Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is known to be a huge admirer of the Welshman.

Although the 25 year-old insists that he is enjoying life in Madrid, reports claim that the current European champions are willing to offload the attacker as they look to land Hazard.

Hazard has been on Madrid’s radar for a number of seasons and while Chelsea would be highly reluctant to sell, the Belgian has frequently expressed his desire to play in Spain one day.

Bale joined Real Madrid last season for a world-record £80 million and enjoyed great success in his debut campaign, lifting the Champions League and the Copa del Rey as well as scoring 22 goals in all competitions.
