Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to make another attempt at signing Manchester United star David de Gea this summer, Fichajes reports.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper almost completed a mega move to the Spanish giants last summer, but after his papers were submitted late the transfer eventually broke down.
De Gea then decided to extend his stay at Old Trafford with a new deal following the failed switch, but Perez is now ready to come back in for his services.
He was in line to receive wages of £54.6million over the course of his proposed six-year contract at the Bernabeu.
The La Liga side are now considering a move to replace current first choice star Keylor Navas with the Spain international, but are likely to face heavy resistance from United.
He has already featured 46 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to keep a total of 19 clean sheets in the process.
