Real Madrid ready to steal Man United star

Real Madrid are ready to move for Manchester United’s David de Gea, according to reports from The Express.

The Spanish goalkeeper endured a rocky start to his career at Old Trafford after joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011, but he has recovered to become one of the Premier League’s top No. 1s.

He once again demonstrated his skills over the weekend with an inspired display against Everton, pulling off a number of saves – including one from a Leighton Baines penalty – to help secure his side a vital three points.

And now Real are ready to offer him a route back to his homeland, as the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool circle Iker Casillas.

It’s rumoured that the duo both want the Los Blancos legend, who may be free to leave after a turbulent few years.

The La Liga giants want to replace their man with De Gea, who would compete with World Cup star Keylor Navas for a starting berth.

The United ace has recently admitted that he has considered leaving his current side in the past, and he might be tempted again if Louis van Gaal cannot bring Champions League football back to the Theatre of Dreams.
