Real Madrid want Man United striker in swap deal

Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez

Real Madrid hope to include Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez in any deal taking Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, according to the Sun.

United had planned on using winger Nani as a makeweight in a move to bring fans favourite Ronaldo back to England but the Spanish side have their sights set on Hernandez.

Real bought Ronaldo for £50million from United in 2009 and are unlikely to accept any offer that will not include profit on that deal.

Madrid are set to bid for the Mexican striker even if a deal for Ronaldo is shelved as they look to add a natural finisher to their side that were knocked out of the Champions League this week and sit miles adrift of Barcelona in La Liga.

‘Little Pea’ has struggled to nail down a place in the Old Trafford first team this season but has still bagged 16 goals in all competitions.
