With Manchester United hosting Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, there has been a lot of talk about what tactics Jose Mourinho should use when going up against his former club.

The Portuguese manager is usually one of the best around when it comes to using a formation that limits the opposition's chances of scoring, however United fans will be desperate for their team to also challenge the Blues.

Supporters will be looking for the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial to try and get in behind the almost certain back three that Antonio Conte will use, however, there remains a debate over how Paul Pogba can fit in.

The 24-year-old has struggled in recent matches to make much of an impact and has been heavily criticised by pundits for not mastering the deeper midfield role in a 4-2-3-1.

We asked United fans in our poll to choose what formation they would select when they welcome Chelsea to the Theatre of Dreams and there was a clear winner.

56% of fans believe Mourinho should stick with the 4-3-3 system that was used against Sevilla in midweek, although there was some preference for a 4-2-3-1 setup as well.

United fans, what system would you select to best deal with Chelsea and get the result you want? Let us know by commenting below…
