With the highly-anticipated encounter against Liverpool looming, the topic of Jose Mourinho's Manchester United team selection has been a hot topic.

Headline act Paul Pogba, who has started the last two Premier League games on the bench, made his return to the starting lineup in the Champions League tie against Valencia. However, he failed to take his chance to shine, missing a glaring chance in the first half when it seemed easier to score - the offside flag spared his blushes, at least.

Seeing as that game in Valencia was somewhat of a dead rubber, with the Red Devils already qualified alongside Juventus, perhaps that is why the Frenchman was thrown into the team.

For a game as big at the one at Anfield on Sunday, however, Mourinho may want to take it a bit more seriously, so whether or not we see Pogba will be a huge determiner of how much trust there is in the 25-year-old.
