The Times recently reported that members of the Manchester United first team squad have questioned manager Jose Mourinho over his continued selection of £40 million addition (BBC) Nemanja Matic despite the midfielder’s poor form.

The 45-cap Serbia international has been a regular in Mourinho's starting XI this season but has failed to impress. Against the Red Devils’ bitter rivals Manchester City, last time out, Matic was especially poor.

The Playmaker FC squad decided to wind-up some unsuspecting Brazil fans at the Emirates on Saturday night. Watch the hilarious results in the video below...

If the aforementioned report is true, and the 30-year-old’s recent performances have created a rift in the Old Trafford dressing room, then the club must consider offloading the out-of-sorts defensive midfielder as soon as possible.

If they were to do so during the upcoming January transfer window then they would stand a good chance of recouping much of their hefty original investment in the 6'4" man, despite his recent decline.

Many United fans certainly feel the time has come for the club to cash in on Matic, with 71% of those who voted in our poll imploring Mourinho to sell the Serbian in January. See the full results below.
