Jose Mourinho's negativity has carried on into the 2018/19 season as he has so far neglected to emphasise the opportunities available to Manchester United's young players if they impress on the club's pre-season tour.

However, Spanish outfit Valencia are reportedly circling with a view to a move for the versatile defender, although their recent signing of right-back Piccini may see their interest cool.
