Sports Illustrated recently reported that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund ace Christian Pulisic.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been a revelation at the Westfalenstadion and it’s no surprise that his exploits have caught the attention of the reigning Bundesliga champions.

However, Bayern are unlikely to be the only side with interests in Pulisic. Manchester United would be wise to try to attract the 23-cap USA international to Old Trafford before Bayern can make him their own.

With Juan Mata ageing and yet to sign a contract extension with the Red Devils, and Alexis Sanchez failing to perform since his January arrival, there is a chance that Jose Mourinho will seek to overhaul his attacking contingent in the summer.

Pulisic would be an ideal player for the Portuguese boss to build his new-look attack around.
