According to reports in The Sun, Arsenal are ready to sell midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer unless he agrees to a new contract, and we suggested that Manchester United should move to snap the £110,000-a-week star up.

The Sun reported that the Gunners would be ready to cash in on the £40m-rated Wales international if he doesn't extend his current deal, which is due to expire next summer.

Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup final defeat was just another sign that Jose Mourinho needs to strengthen his Red Devils squad this summer, and one position he could prioritise is a central midfielder to slot in alongside Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba if he plays with three in that area.

Ramsey, who scored 11 goals and provided a further 12 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit this season, could certainly provide the perfect attacking foil for Pogba, and would add some much-needed creativity from the middle of the park.

We asked Man United fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would like to see their club sign Ramsey, and a huge 69% said they would.

The 27-year-old's future may well depend on who is going to replace Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium this summer, with Mikel Arteta the overwhelming favourite.
