Second Man United legend slams City’s supporters

Looks like Manchester City supporters aren’t too popular with former Manchester United players at the minute- although it’s not like they were anyway.

In a Champions League game against Italian giants AS Roma, it was evident of the plethora of empty seats surrounding the Etihad Stadium.

In a big European fixture that City ideally needed to win on the back of an agonising defeat at the hands of German champions Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena a fortnight ago, City supporters failed to see the appeal about seeing the likes of Francesco Totti, Miralem Pjanic and former Chelsea and Arsenal left back Ashley Cole grace the Etihad pitch.

Former Red Devils centre back Rio Ferdinand expressed his anger on Twitter saying there at home watching something like ‘Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares’. Now former United midfield general turned pundit Paul Scholes had a dig while working on the match for ITV.

Speaking with Adrian Chiles, Scholes then mentioned that it was the Roma fans they could he in the background while he spoke. Known for his shyness in the football community and tending to keep himself to himself, Scholes looks like he’s got some front. Now its time for Adrina Chiles to do the opposite and shut up!
