The 2013/14 Premier League campaign may have only come to a close last weekend but crazy season has already started. As per usual, Manchester United have been linked with a £35million mega-move for pretty much any player in Europe who may or may not be slightly better than what they’ve already got.

But the Old Trafford heirarchy will be aware that crazy, crazy season (double the amount of crazy) is just around the corner.It’s catalyst – the World Cup in Brazil, where the price-tag for any given Carrington target will undoubtedly be further bumped up until fiscal value literally loses all meaning.
