Manchester United fans on Twitter loved Mason Greenwood's first ever start for the club against Cardiff.

Despite going a goal down to the already relegated Bluebirds, the 17-year-old gave Old Trafford a lift due to his exciting display - Greenwood hit the post, almost grabbing an immediate equaliser in the process.

The teenager has hit 26 goals and recorded 8 assists in 29 games for United's youth team this season, showing that he can score goals with both feet; he is equally adept on either foot, and scored a 30-yard freekick against Newcastle on his supposedly weaker left side.

With his start against Neil Warnock's team, Greenwood became the youngest ever player to start a Premier League game for the Red Devils at 17 years and 223 days old, beating Federico Macheda's record.
